陳鼎翰 (Ting-Han Daniel Chen) 是一名設計師、創業家，專注於體驗設計、服務設計、品牌設計和博物館設計策展。擁有超過 18 年的設計實務經驗，主持超過百場公私營部門委託專案，累計獲得超過 50 個國際設計獎項，包括 iF、Core77、Muse、Communication Arts、New York Art Director’s Club、Australian Good Design Award、A' Design Awards、Golden Pin 和 London Design Awards。

他主持的設計專案成果中，曾兩度榮獲 Core77 Design Award 專業組視覺傳達類 (Visual Communication) 的首獎，創下台灣在 Core77 設計競賽中的最佳表現紀錄。此外，他以 玩味旅舍 (Play Design Hotel) 成為台灣第一位榮獲 iF Design Award 服務設計及使用者體驗類 (Service Design & UI/UX) 得獎者，為台灣的設計實力贏得國際矚目。陳鼎翰也在 A' Design Award 的 Design Leaderboard 中，以 Service Design 類別積分全球排名第一，展現服務設計領導力。

他過去創辦多家以設計為核心的企業，包括爻域、碼戲園、種子森林、玩味沙龍，以及概念為「可以住的台灣設計博物館」的 Play Design Hotel。該旅店曾榮獲超過十個跨越飯店業、創新創業、建築室內設計與 UI/UX 領域的國際大獎，包括 Fast Company 的 UX 創新設計獎 (Innovation by Design Awards)、Radical Innovation Award 和 iF Design Award。Play Design Hotel 的國際聲譽卓著，並獲 Louis Vuitton® 城市指南、CNN Style、英國 The Telegraph 旅遊版、國家地理頻道 和 Lonely Planet 等知名媒體專文介紹。

在產業社群中，他積極推動設計發展，2011 年共同創辦 台灣互動設計協會 (IxDA Taiwan)，並多次擔任知名設計競賽和政府計畫的評審、導師及顧問，如經濟部的數位轉型創新計畫等。他也在 ICSSI＆ICServ、HCI International 和 ACM SIGCHI 等國際學術會議發表實務文章，並透過近百場公開演講和大學授課，分享其設計與創業經驗。

除了專業成就外，他自 2005 年起持續修煉 法輪大法氣功，以「真、善、忍」作為生活與工作的指導原則，平衡身心，並將正念融入設計和創業的整體理念。

Ting-Han Daniel Chen is a designer and entrepreneur specializing in experience design, service design, brand design, and museum curation. With over 18 years of professional experience, he has led more than 100 projects for public and private sectors, earning over 50 international design awards, including iF, Core77, Muse, Communication Arts, New York Art Director’s Club, Australian Good Design Award, A' Design Awards, Golden Pin, and London Design Awards.

Among his many achievements, Daniel Chen’s projects have twice won the Core77 Design Award in the Visual Communication category (Professional Group)—a record-setting accomplishment for Taiwan in this competition. Additionally, his work on the Play Design Hotel made him the first Taiwanese designer to receive the iF Design Award in the Service Design and User Experience category (Service Design & UI/UX). He also achieved global recognition by ranking #1 in Service Design on the Design Leaderboard at the A' Design Award, showcasing his leadership in the field.

Daniel has co-founded several design-centric enterprises, including Play Design Hotel, a concept hotel described as an "inhabitable Taiwanese design museum." Play Design Hotel has received more than ten international awards spanning hospitality, innovation, architecture, interior design, and UI/UX, such as the Fast Company's Innovation by Design Awards, the Radical Innovation Award, and the iF Design Award. The hotel has also been featured in prestigious global media outlets, including the Louis Vuitton® City Guide, CNN Style, The Telegraph Travel, National Geographic, and Lonely Planet.

Daniel actively contributes to the design and industry community. In 2011, he co-founded the Interaction Design Association Taiwan (IxDA Taiwan) and has served as a judge, mentor, and advisor for prominent design competitions and government projects, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ digital transformation and service innovation initiatives. He has presented industry practice papers at academic conferences such as ICSSI & ICServ, HCI International, and ACM SIGCHI, sharing his insights through nearly 100 public talks and university lectures.

Beyond his professional career, Daniel has practiced Falun Dafa since 2005, guided by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. This practice brings balance and mindfulness to his life, enriching his overall approach to design and entrepreneurship.
